Good scope
Ordered this scope but got a black matte instead of the silver one. Called OpticSale last week and today UPS brought the right one. Thanks OpticSale. Couldn’t be happier with this scope and service. Just mounted it on my stainless 44 mag Redhawk and it looks great. Scope has very clear optics and eye relief is good even at higher power setting. Would definately buy this scope again.

good field of view WILL HANDEL THE BIG HANDGUNS!! i have mine on a 375jdj
and so far after 200 rnds it’s still where i set it sure there’s other ones but for the $ i’d put this on any handgun…

Bushnell Handgun Scope
I ordered Bushnell Trophy Scope in (Silver) and they sent me a black one! Not happy i called them up and they agreed to exchange it,but later ended up keeping it as to not go though the hastle and waiting game. They seem to have a problem with part #s or something.it looks good with stainless steel anyways and it grew on me.Other than that the scope fits nice on my ruger redhawk with stock rings but you need to lower the adjustment on the rear iron sights all the way down so that it doesnt hit the scope.comes with sight caps and looks heavy duty,adjustments are smooth and done by hand.you can zoom in and out, very clear and color is a flat black, over all nice scope for the $$$ just send me the right one i order next time!

Magnification (Power): Riflescopes are often referred to by two numbers separated by an “x”. For example: 4×40. The first number is the power or magnification of the scope. With a “4x”, the object being viewed appears to be four times closer than when seen with the unaided eye.

Objective Lens Size: The second number in the formula (4×40) is the diameter of the objective or front lens. The larger the objective lens, the more light that enters the scope, and the brighter the image.

Field of View (F.O.V.): The side-to-side measurement of the circular viewing field or subject area. It is defined by the width in feet or meters of the area visible at 1000 yards or meters. A wide angle binocular features a wide field of view and is better for following action. Generally, the higher the magnification, the narrower the field of view.

Reticle: A reticle is the crosshair or pattern placed in the eyepiece of the scope which establishes the gun’s position on the target.
